Crete was chosen as one of the top travel destinations in the world for 2017 by TIME Magazine and TripAdvisor.
Its distinct culture, world-famous sites, unique gastronomy and beautiful beaches were among the reasons why TIME Magazine ranked Crete in 3rd place of the best international destinations for this year. According to TIME, Crete brings together quality and value to provide a terrific travel experience.
Just in case there was any doubt, Crete also came in 6th place of the Travelers’ Choice awards for the top destinations in the world by TripAdvisor, one of the world’s largest travel sites. The Greek island also came in 4th place among Tripadvisor’s Top 10 Travelers’ Choice Destinations in Europe for 2017.
