The European Capital of Culture Pafos 2017 recently held an event to honor all sponsors for their involvement and contribution to the success of the organization.
Leptos Calypso hotels and
Neapolis University Pafos, members of the Leptos Group were presented the Gold Hospitality sponsor award and the Honorary award for their support and assistance. During the year, Leptos Calypso Hotels provided the Pafos 2017 event with free accommodation, while the University organized 53 events, including exhibitions, conferences, lectures and other functions, as part of the Cultural Capital events.
It is also worth mentioning that members of the teaching staff participated in the group that applied for the selection of Paphos as a Cultural Capital and in many other events that were held by the organization.
The Group, has always been an avid sponsor and supporter of art and culture. The Coral Beach Hotel & Resort alone sees numerous cultural events and performances each year.
The 2017 events of the European Capital of Culture were a huge success and have given Paphos not only an unprecedented international exposure but have also regenerated our city, enhanced its image and have acknowledged Paphos as a quality cultural and tourist destination.
