Crete Among the Top 10 Cheapest Beach Holidays in Europe

Post Office UK has released its annual Holiday Costs Barometer for 2019 which details the cheapest places to go for a beach holiday this year, the Evening Standard reports.

Sunny Beach in Bulgaria tops the list of the of the best bargain beach holiday for 2019, down 10.7 per cent from last year, with the Algarve in Portugal following close behind with a price fall of 16.2 per cent.

Limassol in Cyprus saw the biggest price fall over the past 12-month period, with a 20 per cent drop, moving it to ninth place from last year’s 16th placing.

Spanish destinations dominate the list, taking up a quarter, with Torremolinos and Benidorm being the cheapest beach destinations to visit.
