Paphos Wins Gold Prize for its Coasts 
Paphos won the “Quality Coast” Gold Prize for being a sustainable coastal tourist destination for 2018. The entire coastline of Paphos has been recognised for the third consecutive year as attractive for visitors interested in combining holidays and nature in a destination with enchanting scenery that cares for and preserves the quality of the environment and strives to protect and enhance local identity and cultural heritage.

 
Neapolis University Pafos 6th Graduation Ceremony 2017- 2018 
The 6th graduation Ceremony of Neapolis Pafos is on Friday 28th of September 2018 at 18:30 in Coral Beach Hotel and Resort. The ceremony will be honoured by H.E. the President of the House of Representatives Mr .Demetris Syllouris, the Paphos MPs the District officer, the church Authorities , Mayors and municipal councilors.
 
Leptos Kamares Village: Celebrating 40 years (1978 – 2018) 
On the hills overlooking Paphos, close to the 12th Century Monastery of St. Neophytos and a few minutes drive from Paphos Center, Leptos Estates has created "Kamares Village", one of the most exclusive villa developments in Cyprus, which is amongst the most distinctive in the Mediterranean. S&P Raises Cyprus Credit Rating to BBB- back to Investment Grade 
Standard & Poor’s Global Ratings raised its long- and short-term foreign and local currency sovereign credit ratings on Cyprus to ‘BBB-/A-3’ from ‘BB+/B’ with a stable outlook.
 

 
Agios Neophytos Monastery : It is One of the Most Famous Monasteries in Cyprus 
The Engleistra and the Monastery of Agios Neophytos are situated near the village of Tala, about 10 kilometres north of Nea Paphos. The Engleistra was initially a natural cave on the eastern side of a hill’s slope. In front of the hill lies a deep gorge, at the end of which flows a torrent. Inside the Engleistra, Saint Neophytos led a hermit’s life.
 
Paphos Maintains its Position as the most Popular Spot to Overseas Buyers and Investors 
Paphos is in the lead as the most popular district for overseas buyers from Europe and Non-Europeans by 39% in comparison to Limassol which follows with 30%.   Larnaca is 3rd with 15,5% and lastly Famagusta with 10% and Nicosia with just 5.5%.
 
Invest Cyprus Presents Investment Opportunities in Cyprus in view of Brexit 
The Cyprus Investment Promotion Agency (Invest Cyprus), presented the investment opportunities that Cyprus can offer in view of Brexit, in an event that took place in London, on the future of Europe and Cyprus. The event, which was co-organised by the Agency and Bloomberg, took place on Friday, 21stSeptember at the new headquarters of the international news agency, under the auspices of the President of the Republic, Nicos Anastasiades.
 
Cyprus and Egypt Sign Agreement for Subsea Gas Pipeline 
Cyprus and Egypt sign an inter-state agreement concerning a subsea pipeline to carry Cypriot natural gas to Egypt. Cyprus’ Energy Minister Yiorgos Lakkotrypis and his Egyptian counterpart Tarek El Molla met on September 18 in Nicosia with the President of Cyprus, Nicos Anastasiades, to inform him about the conclusion of the deal.
