Neapolis University’s 3rd Graduation Ceremony

Neapolis University Pafos held its 3rd graduationceremony on Friday the 25th September  2015 at Coral Beach Hotel and Resort.

343 undergraduate and postgraduate students proudly received their diplomas to embark on new challenges in life with a degree from Neapolis University. 

The President of the University, Mr. Michael Leptos, congratulated the graduates and told them they should be proud of the University and all the efforts and dedication they each showed for their accomplishments.

Mr. Leptosmentioned the cooperation with top internationaluniversities and the introduction of the new InformaticsProgramme as well as a new College being establishedthat will offer professional development courses in areas in demand by the economy and industries, such as tourism. 

The President of the House of the Parliamentary Committee of Education, Mr Georgios Tasou, also addressed the audience and graduating class of Neapolis University and expressed his gratitude for being part of the graduation ceremony that is such an important part of the graduates’ lives and their parents and Professors who saw their efforts being realized.  Mr. Tasou also praised the high standards of education and vision of the University which is contributing to modern education for the future needs of society.

The President of the House of Representatives mentioned in the speech he sent that Neapolis University has established itself within its five years of operations as a choice young people now have for a high level education which offers officially recognized programmes and has taken on an important role in contributing and enhancing the growth of Paphos.

Archbishop Chrysostomos II also attended the graduation ceremony as well as the Dean of The Open University of Greece, Mr. Vasilis Kardasis. 

The graduation ceremony was attended by hundreds of people who filled the Akamas room of The Coral Beach Hotel with joy and pride for the 3rd graduating class of Neapolis University.
